BIOGRAPHY Born in Massachusetts, Laura studied fashion design in Boston and in Paris. In the years from 1987 to 1992 she started working in the fashion world, taking care - as a free-lancer - of design and production for some american houses both in the United States and abroad. During these years she frequently traveled to Europe and Central America. In 1996 she started, almost for fun, to get involved in fashion photography. Since then, she has been cooperating with many different magazines and taking care of the production of catalogues and campaigns for italian and foreign clients. In the occasion of Milano Collezioni 2001 and 2002, she exhibited in Milan her first and second collection of photographic works, respectively Adagio, giocoso e non troppo legato and Fiori Chiari 17: le pareti raccontano, achieving an excellent success both for the originality of the subject and for the maturity of the technique. But the work that was most recognized and acclaimed by the critics was her third collection, Mystical encounters, presented in the fall of 2002.
